Oliver is an orange tabby kitten left in the streets to fend for himself. After joining a gang of dogs led by the petty criminal Fagin, he becomes involved in an elaborate ruse to obtain money so Fagin can pay off a debt. It fails, and complications arise after Oliver ends up being “adopted” by a little girl named Jenny, who is subsequently kidnapped by the loan shark Fagin owes the money to. Luckily, Jenny is rescued, and Oliver has a happy new home with her.
